We love having you! Please read through these frequently asked questions so you’re best prepared for visiting the farm when our store is open.
HOW DO I hire chef steven for an event?

Do you have a place to stay overnight on the farm?
YES! We have 2 beautiful, brand new BnBs on the second floor of our barn that you can book for overnight stays, and we also incorporate them into event rental packages for the event space if needed.
When is the Farm open TO THE PUBLIC?
We have several types of dinners and events each month where the farm is open to the public! Some are family-friendly, and some are adults only events. Please check our Events page for all upcoming events!
We open The Kindred Farm Store to the general public on select Saturday mornings. The farm store is located inside our big white barn on the hill. Join our email list to stay updated on Monthly Market Days, special products, and events at the farm store!
HOW DO I ORDER CINNAMON ROLLS?
To be guaranteed cinnamon rolls at one of our Farm Store Market Days, you must order online by Thursday at 7pm before the Saturday we are open. Otherwise, it’s first come, first serve at the farm store, and they sell out quickly! Pre-order cinnamon rolls here.
CAN I GET A PRIVATE TOUR OF THE FARM?
When our farm store is open on select Saturday mornings, there are certain designated you can walk around on your own. Private tours of our work areas and flower production fields outside of this designated time are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on our events and farming schedule. We charge a separate fee for a private tour which includes time for us to answer your questions about business, farming, etc. Please contact us if you’re interested in this.
WHAT ARE THE RESTROOM OPTIONS?
We have 3 restrooms available for guests inside our new barn. These are available during the farm store and any other events we’re hosting on-site.
Are children welcome?
Our family-friendly events are great opportunities to bring children to the farm. Do not leave children unattended. Please keep an eye on your children and do not let them wander onto the produce fields, barn, etc. Kindred Farm assumes no liability if children get hurt or injured on the play equipment or anywhere else on the farm. We live here, and our children play here too, so please respect the play spaces and farm store area.
Our Kindred Dinners, classes, and experiences are adults-only events unless otherwise noted as a family-friendly event. See Upcoming Events here.
IS SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED?
Absolutely NO smoking or vaping is allowed at Kindred Dinners or anywhere near other guests, the dinner site, or produce fields. If you must smoke or vape, please excuse yourself from the dinner and do so in the parking lot area or in your car.
ARE PETS ALLOWED ON THE FARM?
NO PETS are allowed on the farm besides service dogs.
Can I walk around the farm by myself?
After we greet you at the farm store, we can show you which areas around the barn where you can walk around. Please keep a close eye on your children when walking around the farm, as this is a working farm with wire fences, animals nearby, and tools.
We have the BEST customers, and we know you’ll respect the land, flowers, and farm equipment! 💛
Do you sell food and beverages we can have at the farm store?
We always sell fresh cinnamon rolls, and sometimes we sell other breakfast items that you’re welcome to enjoy here at the farm store, while supplies last! Items often sell out, so come early!
What are my parking options on the farm?
We have a gravel parking lot where you can park and several grass areas where you can park if those are full. It’s a short walk from the parking lot to the farm store area.
DO YOU SHIP YOUR PRODUCTS?
We currently do not have the time or staff to officially ship our products. Maybe in the future…
